J. BENNETT FRIEDMAN, shareholder of Friedman Law Group, P.C., received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois, Champaign/Urbana in 1984 and his Juris Doctorate degree from Loyola University Los Angeles in 1987.  Mr. Friedman is admitted to practice in both California and Illinois, and is a member of the Los Angeles, Beverly Hills and Illinois Bar Associations. Mr Friedman also served as chair of the Executive Committee for the Beverly Hills Bankruptcy Section in 2008.  Mr. Friedman is admitted to practice in the Central, Northern, Southern and Eastern Districts of the United States District Court in the State of California, and routinely practices in the Southern District of New York and Delaware Bankruptcy Courts.

Mr. Friedman is a bankruptcy attorney representing commercial, transactional, real estate and business owners in complex reorganization and insolvency matters.  He also handles general corporate and business matters including acquisitions, transactional and asset management.

Personal Background
Mr. Friedman is an avid Barbershopper, singing with the Gold Medal Champions, the Masters of Harmony.  Additionally, he leads an active life with exercise and recently has turned his attention to golf and competing in Triathlons.  As a performer himself, Mr. Friedman spends many evenings attending the Opera and live music/theater performances throughout California and the United States.  Most important, however, is participating and experiencing the growth of his two sons.
